Well I had an idea and I would like you all to think it over  ;)

I think we should have an option in the Tattoo place that can allow us to remove the tattoo.  Before you reject this idea based on the time period it is set in, remember that the Naruto universe does have many advances in technology so you could have laser removal or if you feel that that is too advanced than there are other methods of removing tattoos.

I'm sure those methods would obviously be extremely painful with such things as removing the skin.  Also this option wouldn't be free and you would have to pay to get a tattoo removed.  Just like getting a tattoo, the pain can last several days.

There are those people who regret certain tattoos and I think it would be a great thing to consider.  :)

Yeah, I like the idea, as there is a tatoo that did nothing for me that I don't really want. How much of the gems payed for the tatoo would you get back and how much would it cost to remove it?

Well I don't think you should get any Gems back for getting a Tattoo removed.  The tattoo artist is doing you a service by removing it and therefore should not have to pay you back.  I think getting it removed should either cost 10 Gems or if it were to cost money, then 10000 Gold.  Since you won't be removing them frequently that's not a major cost.

Getting the tatto removed may also scar you and therefore also decrease your charm.

That was a long time ago so I thought the idea must have been rejected.  So I decided to come at it from a different angle.

I also would like to add that I tried getting a tattoo removed through a petition and Neji turned the idea down.  So after some time I decided to come at him with a plan, hoping that he'll work on this idea.

It doesn't really matter why someone would want to remove it, just that some people want to remove it, thus, it should be there.

Some people don't know the effects... maybe they wanted to test it out? There are various reasons as to why someone would want to get a tatoo, but you have to also apply it to real life, people get tatoos, and some regret getting them and they want to get them removed...

Well some people regret buying certain tattoos and as a Genin or Academy Student you make choices that you wouldn't necessarily have made in a higher rank.  I bought a tattoo as a Genin and now as a Jounin, I no longer want that tatto because I don't think it fits my character.

@Neji: I really hope you'll get this idea worked on  :D

i think the first time i bought a tatoo was to see what it did. i didnt noticed nothing special but i liked it and i bought them all   :D why not have them all in my bio  :)

Well I buy tattoos based on my character and personality.  So you can see I may have a tattoo I no longer want and would gladly pay large amounts, if I had to, to get it removed  :)

My idea wasn't rejected. Neji was extremely busy during that time due to his exams and I didn't give him details about the seven stars tattoo.
