Quick rather silly question about Akatsuki and Curse Seal

Hey I just really wanted to know something rather quick...If this is something I shouldnt be asking or Im crossing any lines please inform me and I do apologize...Im just asking whether or not you can become a member of the Akatsuki AND get a Cursed Seal at some time...Meaning can I have both?Once again Im sorry for having to ask...
