I must have found this thing when I happened across a mine... the description is as follows:

Description of Gold Nugget (Lg):
A rather large gold nugget worth alot of gold

What exactly am I supposed to do with such a thing?

It's meant to cure digestion. You need to properly eat it, along with some liquid quicksilver.

Also, it's good for your skin.
