Speacial Properties

This idea was inspired by Xaos's idea. I was thinking maybe after getting a set number of DKs if you could be able to get a special property for your  custom weapon or armor. It could add more strategy to a battle.

as of right now, i think there are enough things going on.
but...maybe...
Poison: costs 1k for each weapon (you have to re-buy after you buy a new weapon)
can only buy in weaponshop when anbu or higher
if you hit your opponent, 10% chance of poisoning them
if poisoned, they take x damage for x rounds where x is your current weapon's level

chakra sucking armor: costs 3k for each armor (you have to re-buy after you buy a new armor)
again, only anbu or higher
if you are hit by your opponent, 10% chance of sucking some of their chakra
gives you +1/2 x att and def, where x is your current level (+1/2 x each to attack and defense)
they do only 80% damage for x rounds where x is (once again) your current level

yes, i know neji is a busy guy
but i thought i'd throw my ideas out there ^^

Poison property
Adds "Poisonous" in front of your weapon's name.
When poisoned, the opponent loses 5% of thier max HP each round.

Blind property
Adds "Shiny" in front of your armor's name.
Chances of making the enemy's attack misses you completely.

Healing property
Adds "Medical" in front of your armor's name.
Heals you for 5% of your max HP each round. (Getting poisoned by your opponent cancels the healing effect)

Burn property
Adds "Flaming" in front of your weapon's name.
Adds extra damage when attacking.

Strength property
Adds "Heavy" in front of your weapon's or armor's name.
Increases attack but decreases defense or increases defense but decreases attack. (Getting both a heavy weapon & a heavy armor will neutralize the buff)

Ok, all of you ... have tasted blood now... More power.. more gear... *moooore* ;)

believe me, I can do it, and then, the enemies will adapt. and use the same techniques against you.

<-give it to kboogi. after 100 rounds, he has +5 to atk, and so on. count in perfect rounds and you just increased a top player by 15 points per game day.

You *DO* want to have megaslayers, do you? ;D

Will make fighting forest opponents more interesting thou I do prefer the old boring and easy battles.

Also, it slows the server significantly down as each battle of each and every player those get called.

You know why I removed the soul-gaining through  battles? =) because it put a-hell-of-a-load on the server.

of course, I could rewrite the entire battle system. with 48h days, well.
Also, I am moving next week ;) and am painting and stuff on saturday and on.

yet, my major concern is: players get stronger, too strong, then I need to make the forest fights harder, which would result, for those people who do not buff themselves up to the top, mostly impossible fights.

As I said, the things you use, the enemies can also use.
then the enemies will also have armours that punch damage back... fire swords and so on. =)

want to fight Gaara? then he will use his Ryuusa Bakuryuu...

(hm, enemies with justsus... why not....)

You know what? Next time you see him, try killing Shinobazu for a guy that can use jutsu-type stuff against you ^^

Ryuusa Bakuryuu will one-hit you. Literally. Somewhere around 300 damage probably.

You have encountered Gaara which lunges at you with Ryuusa Bakuryuu...

*...*

Gaara: *Ryuusa Bakuyruu!*
You are hit for 361 points of damage and are immobile.
Gaara: *Sabaku Taisou!*
You are hit by a sand shockwave!
You suffer 172 damage!
Gaara:*Sabaku Kyuu!*
You get compressed and shifted to a deep location in the sand!
You suffer 842 damage!

Aah, if I only had time, it lets my heart beat faster....

Sorry Neji, but Ryuusa Bakuryuu does something more like this for me:

The wave of sand deals 73 damage!
The wave of sand deals 81 damage!
The wave of sand deals 76 damage!
The wave of sand deals 74 damage!
The wave of sand deals 73 damage!
The wave of sand deals 82 damage!

(was it 8 hits or 6?)

And Desert Imperial Funeral/Burial (I've heard different translations) should one-hit the little acads ^^

Ok, now we're off topic :P
but if this requires enemies to have jutsus to implement, i say HECK NO!

Yeah! It was a challenge to beat the Shinobazu (had to use level 15 sand attack) I love the idea!
