My first question is what does it lower down to, like how much defense you used your dk kills for? Next if you like log out with the temporary boosts still there and other people attack you, do the boots lower or do they stay the same??

Those temp attacks and defense are probably because of your buffs.
They vanish while you attack people.
And no, I don't think they remain when people attack you.
