 After fighting Orochimaru I decided to buy some new gear. When I went to check the bank it says I have 0 gold. Is there no way to retain the gold?

non of the links seem to be working for me right now. I was able to enter the shops and the bank earlier but now the links just keep bringing me back to the village square.
