                                                                              Something Special!
You are walking through the forest when suddenly a small kid runs past you! He bumps into you knocking you and himself to the ground. He gets up and without even saying excuse me runs off into the forest! You get up dusting yourself off and you...

A. Ignore the kid and return to the forest
B. Follow the kid

If A. Return to the forest

If B. You jog off into the woods in search of the kid
-10% chance: You see no trace of the kid and walk back to the forest and lose 1 forest fight
-90% chance: You come upon a small clearing and a building with a sign reading "Ninja Academy for the Young and Gifted"

A. Return to the Forest-Lose 1 Forest Fight
B. Approach the Master

If B. You approach the Master
-20% chance: The Master takes one look at you and scofs "Get out of here you scum you aren't deserving of my teachings!" you leave and return to the forest embarrassed and you get a Non-Buff "Embarrassment" and lowers your attack for 20 rounds.
-75% chance: The Master takes one look at you and says "My my you look like a talented one! I offer you my services for 1000 gold and 2 gems!" you pay and gain 1 chakra point...if you refuse or don't pay you return to the forest your time wasted
-5% Chance: The Master takes a long hard look at you and before you know it he draws a kunai lunging at you! you have no choice but to fight!
Master's Hp-200
Attack20
Defense-20
The master has a buff that allows him to execute a strong fire based jutsu that hits you for say 30-40 damage a round
If you win:he falls to the ground defeated heavily breathing he smiles and offers his teachings free of charge! you gain 1 chakra point!
If you lose:you fall to the ground your vision dimming the last thing you see is the master smiling you lose 10% exp and all gold

i know it needs work ill keep thinking on how to improve it

eh i kinda like it.....

except maybe....

30% fail

50% he trains you

20% he attacls

and his attack+ def are the same as you and Hp is maybe... 300-400? .-.
if hes a teacher for gifted nin he has to be strong

i knew my stats would be a bit off...so i totally agree with you there
keep in mind though its a rough idea i mean it DEF needs work! :D

How about he has your HP + 500?  ;)

Then for the stats, make them the same as the players stats except, 30 more attack and 5 less defense.  :D

Mounts are allowed in the fight? <<;

yea mounts would be allowed in the fight since he would use a jutsu that would hit you x amount of turns
how about your hp +250?
attack 2- base +1 for every dk and same for defense?

If the master chooses to teach the person, and the person accepts, then what would the master be teaching the pupil?

How about we have the chance of failing and fighting the master a little bit higher. Events should not be that easy to achieve. As shikkifujjin had said before, but maybe a ltittle bit tougher.......?

its just a basic idea i thought would be cool...i havent really thought much on it lol
revised:
50% chance:the master scofs at you "saying don't waste my time you worthless maggot"! you get the non buff embarrasement for 10 rds and lose a forest fight
40% chance:He pulls a kunai and lunges at you (his stats would be higher he is the "master")
You defeat him:he falls to the ground breathing heavily "I haven't had a battle this good in a while!" he offers his services for free and you gain 1 chakra point
He defeats you:you fall to the ground your vision dimming you hear the master laughing and the last thing you see is that stupid little boy from earlier
10% chance:he says "you could only benefit of my teachings! ill offer them to you for 2000 gold and 3 gems!"

Mmm, what if you lose against him you have a 40% of gain one chakra point "after you defeat your own master you feel more powerful. +1chakra and X Gem(s)

60% you reallize he have nothing to teach you.

if you lose 50% "Oops (something funny here) you are DEAD

30% "Arghh you are a noob, get out here!!" you run really fast and ten-ten was walking by there and laughs really loud at you*
 you lose some charm and the negative buff- Shame 20 rounds.

20% "mmm, you have some potential, but nothing is free sooo...." X gold X gem(s)

those punishments are a bit harsh i think...like the if you win but oops you die one xD
I like the idea of adding a gem or maybe a bit of gold in as a reward for beating the master along with 1 chakra pt
