I was at school (5th grade).

I remember being called out to flagpole, and a teacher announcing that terrorists had crashed two planes into the twin towers, and I mistook the word ‘terrorist’ for ‘tourist’, and I asked myself: “Why would tourists crash their plane? Wouldn’t that make them late for… doing tourist-y things?” >>

But, in all seriousness, when I understood the gravity of the situation, I was horrified.

I was 7, after recess the teachers were running around all warning teachers of bombs or something..... I didn't know what they were talking about though.

According to my mom she was called down to my preschool almost everyday because I was being a evil little toddler.  :twisted: Guess things will always be that way....even though now I can control it.

I was also in school. When it happened we watched the news broadcasts on TV for about two hours straight. Didn't do any work for around two days.
