Chakra at a glance?
« on: October 04, 2007, 05:38:02 PM »

Would it be possible to be able to see how much chakra your character has without fighting in the forest, a special event or winning a fight with your trainer/master?

You would not be able to use them or activate them, just see what you had.  The 5/5 would be accurately updated, same as if you were in a fight.

Of course, I fear the dreaded "beware the server load", which I completely understand if this would cause an issue there.

Something like this:

The first image is how it might appear on the main page, the second, how it might appear while in the forest.

***** Time Constraints *****

If this is relatively easy to do and acceptable, then great.  But there are many other worthy causes, including one near and dear to my heart and I don't want this bad enough to take away valuable resources from it.

Its an alright idea, but i dont know if neji would abide by it. i mean you would have to wait and see how other charcters agree with it, but besides that i think its interesting.

Not a must..And there's no real point in this.

Lazy?  Possibly.  I'm doing so many different things in the game, flouncing from here to there that when I'm in the forest (or heading to a village) I forget what I'm training on and how much I've built up.  So yeah, lazy.

Not a must..And there's no real point in this.

Definitely not a must.  (I think I conveyed a similar sentiment earlier using different verbiage).

I only asked for consideration if the admin thought it would consume very little time.

I am aware he has many irons in the fire, and I actually have another request that I hope gets more time.

It is not easy to do.

Also, there is one problem:

You do not learn jutsu and gain chakra independently...

so, I have to check how much you have and decide what jutsus you can use. I tried to circumvent that .. but it's quite hard.

I *can* display the chakra points. Not that *big* a deal.
BUT not in the village... a fewer trafficked area maybe.
but without jutsus... only the points.

Yeah, just showing how much Chakra you had would be enough, but it's not that import, helpful, but more important things need doing.
