My hitpoints go down by one sometimes when I navigate from area to area.

I checked my buffs. There are no buffs. I had 54 hitpoints initially, my max hitpoints. Then it went down to 53 after I defeated my master. Then to 52, then to 51. I checked my inventory.. Nothing special there.
