Can someone explain why people's introduction threads get locked when people like me and shikki show up and do stupid stuff?
It's not like they are never gonna see it on SL, so people should at least get accustomed to it, so they can come up with funny stuff too.

Perhaps because the extent of the "stupid stuff" becomes excessive? 

Having not seen the threads to which you are referring, I can only guess.  However, I do know that even the Spam Forum requires the moderator's attention. 

Talking about things not related to the game has a place (here), but 100's of posts, "just for the sake of posting" does have the tendency to becoming troublesome for those charged with moderating them.

Besides, how many pages do you really need to "introduce" yourself? I'd say just hop right in and start posting, if you make decent points, you'll get noticed. If you spam, you'll get noticed even faster....and then black listed.

In some thin way, I frequently am on topic.
But it depends on how thinly you go.
For instance, in the "Hello Kitty rifle" thing, we are talking about armies using them. Technically on topic.
The "at home" one I STILL don't know what happened.
