I kind of like the idea of gradually harder fights with flawlesses, but I do think that, by what people encountered, it was taken to much to other side, in my opinion, it should be around 1 kill per 3 game days or so with the kyuubi. Also, instead of the instant kill option, there should be a much higher chance to get hit, and be caught off guard (be the second to attack) up to a 100%.
Also, most importantly, implemant option e immediatly! ;)

caught off guard is no automatic hit.

also, I DID make the fights harder. People died, and cried. (sad)
also, 1 kill / 3 game days would be a hard limit. How should I explain that?

"doesn't matter how many fights you have, 20 or 300, you only get 5 levels a day max" Oo

What I ment with the caught of guard is that the enemy gets first hit, combined with a higher chance to, or a guaranteed chance to hit, it makes sure there wont be a flawless. Ok, gotta think of a new way for levels ^^.
Regarding what you said, the formula should be somewhat based around DKs, since in order to reach a lot of turns, you need to sacrifice power, and therefore sacrifice flawlesses.

are equal.

No, there is NO max.

Ah.

Question, are there "resets" to this chain, so to speak?
For instance, if you die, and resurrect, are the enemies gonna be as strong?

the one I already removed
--> every flawless fight the next enemy/enemies will get stronger. Depending on what I put in, twice their strength after 3 flawless ones i.e. or at 5
that does not reset at the graveyard BUT if you get defeated in the graveyard, it does.

the one I now have in:

every 3-5 flawless IN A ROW you will take a 1-turn-break so you get NO extra turn.

Only problem I have is that I've been playing Shinobi Legends for a while and I have a hard time time with Oro kills. I just now got into the rotation of a kill every 3-4 days. I personally can't wait to get a KG, but the way things are going it might be months from now. I just want an average system that isn't a huge jump fro no where.

I don't know if I was lumped in with people "crying" simply because I typed my opinion, however, I simply don't feel by stating my opinion, I 'cried'.

In theory, I do not mind progressively harder fights, but by progressively harder, I think the enemy should have an increased chance of getting a hit, not a 'super hit'.

Once I got 10 (or so) flawless (using a level 15 jutsu!), the next enemy hit me for over 1,000 on my first hit.  It was not an option for me to do anything differently to avoid that hit.

I also don't like the 3/5 flawless and then a rest.  Why? 

1) People donate for Kyuubi's awesome power at lower levels.  That particular limit, by being so low (potentially under 5), diminishes the attractiveness.

2) People have level 15 jutsu that can get them flawless on normal forest creatures for 5 turns.  (some have lower level that can do the same, another issue).  If I use my chakra to get 5 flawless in a row, but after the 3rd I lose a turn.  Well, I think that is pretty weak.

Also, you mentioned elsewhere something along the lines of "people are greedy".  To me, 'greed' would imply we wanted you to make the game easier that it was.  In reality, some of us just want it to go back to the way it was all along (and not any easier).

Currently, however, there is no:

-> you hit
-> then damage gets calculated.

it is

-> (enemy attack-your defense-random number) = damage and hit. if damage <0, then self-hit.

like that.

so I would make the hit-chance increased, but I can't.

the entire battle system is in development right now.

so, what to do?

My opinion on what to do? - Put things back the way they were (no alterations - same game as a month ago) - Or with a small defense increase with each flawless fight in a chain for players over 50 dks (def*1.15^(# of flawless)) until the new system is ready.

Again, just my opinion.

Anyway, about stopping players from getting too many flawless fight, I understand the need to stop players from getting an almost unbreakable chain of flawless fights with "thrill seeking till the end" since it would make getting DK way too easy & boring.

I wish there were a way to request whether or not you wanted the game to be tougher, and then it could be made tougher only for you.  Like instead of *a certain organization*, there would be another that you could join and the benefit/effect of it would be tougher fights in the forest.

People constantly talk about how it gets easy and boring for those at the top.  And some probably are bored.  But when I was within the top 5 (another char), I did not think it was boring at all.

You could have a kekkei genkai. Sadly, you have no 80 dks... and so on.


I am sorry if I have ruined any "I was so proud having only 12 turns but 150 fights each day" experience.
Honestly, if that's all what you have looked for, look again.

It is a role playing game, after all.

wrong.

I don't give out a BONUS turn each time you have a flawless.

The salary comparison is totally off, sorry, because life would be a game then, with admins controlling it.
That, however, is something religious ...

I can make it, more limits, but I *do not like it*

the flawless BONUS turns are the problem, or you want to be weaker, hm?
Getting smacked in the forest every few turns?

This is pointless, sorry, because complaining about that stuff is useless.

This even makes me sticking to the new system even more.
