Global Limits
« on: February 12, 2008, 09:56:37 PM »

You have reached your global limit for coffers. Current Balance: 91278 of 100000

You walk up to your coffers, open them and try to decide what you want to do with your gold and gems.

Gold in Coffers    66244 gold, the maximum amount allowed in this dwelling is 75000 gold.
91278 gold, the global maximum amount allowed is 100000 gold.

How was the limit reached?

It lumps all your dwellings together, not just the one.

It lumps all your dwellings together, not just the one.

By combining all the dwelling together, shouldn't the max limit be 100K IF your castle or cityhouse isn't full?

That is what I don't understand. The dwelling isn't full, and the 100K hasn't been reached yet.

No, not IF your house is full.

itis not "max limit, butif you have something left in some coffer, fill it there"

that's no limit.

max limit < all your houses * coffersize

I think it depends on how much you were depositing. If you were putting more than 8722 at once (100 000 - 91 278), it will register as you maxing out your limit... You have to put the exact amount (or less)

If it says this:

Gold in Coffers    66244 gold, the maximum amount allowed in this dwelling is 75000 gold.
91278 gold, the global maximum amount allowed is 100000 gold.

Limegreen text is that one dwelling.

Yellow dwelling is "global maximum".

Since both still "have room", ace should have been able to deposit at least 8000 gold (the lesser of 8722 & 8756).

I think that is the issue ace is talking about.

But I definitely think the global limit should be raised anyway (I know another topic already beaten to death).  I would like 125,000 to be the limit because I think one castle & one cityhouse full (plus a 10,000 'other' dwelling provision) is not too much, but I realize this has been discussed before with no resolution.

So the only problem was that I was trying to deposit too much at one time?

If that was the case, no big deal. I can just deposit the amount needed to equal 100,000.
