You're about to say something exceptionally clever when a crack against the back of your skull sends you spiraling into darkness. You wake up with a splitting headache and find that Hanzaki has taken 27 gems from your unconcious body. Additionally, you find 1061 gold gone.

This event is ridiculous!  If the point is to take gems (because we allegedly get "too many"), then either cut the amount of gems given in the forest, -OR- rework the wording of the event.

To beat the event according to its own rules, and still lose all of our gems it absolutely ludicrous.

I win at life all the time, and I do so within the confines of the established rules - and by making good decisions based upon those rules.  If I do not want to lose valuables, I do not gamble them.  When I have some to spare, I do.

I do not cheat, and I do not expect to be cheated.  I also avoid situations in which I suspect that I might be cheated.

In the Hanzaki event, there is no such option.  In which case, I find it very unlike "life".

But your mileage may vary.

Is there a reason this was added now? Getting rid of gems before Kyuubi appears? Something upcoming that requires gems? Or was it just so you could be evil?
