Why dont we have Genin and Chuunin and Jounin exams?

Why dont we have Genin and Chuunin and Jounin exams like the show and manga? You know and have to fight a line of enemys to become the Genin, and have to complete the Chuunin exams to become Chuunin and what ever you have to do to become Jounin,and beat t

Would kill the goal of the game to beat the Dragon (Orochimaru) to gain ranks. To change it go by exams and stuff like that would take a good few months of coding... Alot of coding... Much coding... Never ending coding... I'm going to bed now...

Still it doesent sound like the ninja way. I mean that how can an academy student kill what Jounin couldnt even hurt.
