Probably chakra control, i can't say that it gives him a chakra boost at normal naruto form.

Fine, Naruto is hopeless, the only reason he is so strong is because he as Kyuubi. He does have the 'Believe it!' attitude, but he is still hopeless.
However lately he is becoming not so useless.
