And fake trees are much better than real ones:

1) They won't catch on fire as easily as real ones will

2) Your not cutting down trees

3: No pine needles to clean up!

We're not allowed a big tree; we have a dog than seems to think that trees are edible.

Trees weren't meant to be cut down. >.>; We do that as a natural way of disturbing the ecosystem for our various means of enjoyment! Yay us!

But anyways, my family gets the small, itty bitty trees since we have no space for a large one. But I do agree with Maria that cleaning up the pine needles is really annoying!

No can do. My mom puts a tree skirt underneath the tree, so if I tried covering the bottom with a towel, she's get mad at me. LOL

My dad gets a large piece of plywood and puts the tree on that, with its own skirt. It's easy to sweep the needles up off the wood and shake the skirt off outside.

o.o that sounds convenient! I'll tell my mom to do that.  

But a tree skirt is basically a decorative cloth thingy that circles around the base of a christmas tree.

We got a Fake one, but it still gets Plastic needles everywhere lol
I like Real but fake is just easier, cheaper, better on Environment and so on
