I would like to know what slumming does......can anyone answer this for me.....

The monsters you fight during slumming aree usually weaker than the ones you get while seeking and thrill seeking. That's basicly the only difference.

like chaos said, this is like the layout

Slumming -> one level below you.
Seek Out -> Your same level.
Thrill Seeking -> One level above you.

Yes I tried this out today. Slumming, becuase the monsters are weaker than normal, gives you a reduced amount of experience and flawless battles yield no extra turns. That's why you should just look for something to kill or go thrillseeking if you are feeling lucky  .

Thrillseeking is sometimes more than 1 level above you.

Yeah you are penalized experience when you defeat something lower than you. but also rewarded extra exp when you defeat something higher than you. but thrillseeking is sometimes dangerous.

there is also a new option at chuunin level that lets you fight monsters 2 levels above

Look for Something to Kill - Random. One level below you. Same. One level higher. It all depends on chance.

Go Slumming - One level weaker. Rarely your same level.

Go Thrillseeking - One level higher. Sometimes two levels higher.

Search Suicidally - Random. One Level higher. Two levels higher. Sometimes three. <- That battle was hard.. -.-

Just about make things totally clear?
