HELP! A newbie's quest for enlightenment and other wise sayings

This is really pissing me off.
Ok, so I log on.
I burn some candles, pet some cats, what have you.
Then I journey into the forest and kill some evil things.
At the end of the day, if I dont die from some freak accident (which happens like 1 out of 3 times)
I feel satisfied with my newly gained experience.
I check into Ichiraku's to be safe, hand over some change and go do something else with my life.
I log back in, and all my experience is gone. Further probing shows that about 58695723652983764 (exagerration people chill out)
people have attacked me, leaving me XP-less.
This happens everyday.
How is a lowly Acad Student supposed to advance if I keep getting knocked back EVERY DAY??
any tips?

You can only be killed once while you are logged out.
You are not guaranteed safe anywhere, but a dwelling would probably be much more safe.  ;)

Well my advice would be to suck it up, learn from your mistakes and grow.
It's what the rest of us did, do you see topics from all us asking for help?

how about you join our clan first wuggle, you can pm me in the game, voodookai
we could temp. house you,( our clan is strictly for Filipinos only)  provide you some dwelling,gold and give some game tips,
then when you feel you are about ready to grow!  :cool: you can leave the clan...

Be careful giving tips, it can lead to revealing too much...
But helping out new players is a great idea
