Never have I stated this was strictly by the manga, nor do I think such will happen. The matter is, based on the TOPIC, I doubt Neji will make a Demon race.

Some of us can accept demons as an RP-able race, but in terms of game mechanics there is no existing demon village or large amounts of demons in the show thus it makes no sense to add it in the game. With the expansion/village changes coming soon there is already an ample number of choices.

In my opinion, RPing as another race outside of human is okay so long as one can define how their powers function using chakra, and how they came to live in the shinobi world.

But villages for those sorts of things would take too much time, and too much effort, a clan on the other hand, takes roughly 20 seconds to make.

I'm pretty certain that fanon-villages (/village-clans) are generally unacknowledged by the majority of major villages, the minority being Kirigakure and Sunagakure.

The vast dislike of this so called race which some go as far as to consider part of SHINOBI legends makes it more than clear just how many people would be displeased at it being granted any actual relevance. An implementation can be considered a success when it pleases more people than it displeases. 'nuff said.
