Battle Method: 1v1 OOC death match

Judge(s): PMs will be used to determine an agreed-upon judge

Special Rules:

-The match will be OOC for the benefit of both participating characters. This is essentially to prevent either playing from having to deal with the hassle of dying IC, and additionally leaves both participants free for IC RP during the match. Thus, though the match will be OOC, participants must still RP as their character, exactly as if they were IC, with the addition of following any decided voids, nerfs, etc.

-The match will strictly be 1v1, to prevent any complications arising from extra participants. The player remaining alive retains Hiru (The Zero-Tails). The player that is killed will neither gain nor lose anything else. Essentially, this means the match is strictly about the Reibi and thus nothing else will be changed as a result.

-If desired, a logical RP can be worked out for a reasonable and plausible IC transfer of Hiru to the next host.

-Despite the match being OOC, you need to learn of Ryoji’s possession of Hiru before you may challenge for the Reibi. Thus, you may not challenge for Hiru without proof of how your character learned of Ryoji’s possession of the beast. Once that is confirmed, a hunt/match is then reasonable and you will be put on the challenge list.

-No match will begin without a judge agreed upon beforehand.

-For anyone, including myself, participants will be allowed any common, general, and basic skills that their character possesses as long as those skills are backed by reasonable explanations (they have an existing explanation in the character’s RP history).

-Arguing is discouraged. I will talk over any concerns regarding the match with you if the conversation remains calm and logical. If it steps outside of that, then the judge will be asked to make a decision. Pointlessly bickering is not fun or useful for anyone.

-Participants will have fourteen days to post. If they wait longer than that period of time to respond to the other participant, the posting participant will win by default. In the case of an emergency, this may be reviewed and extended by a week, thus totaling a total allotted response time of twenty one days. However, if any post is discredited for rule-breaking and a repost is required, then that post does not count and the repost must be posted within the original timeframe.

-If any of the rules set forward are broken, I reserve the right to cancel the match. This will not prevent you from re-challenging.

With the smooth Jazz being accepted, The fight will now commence.

A gust of wind would blow through the grassy plains as a man would sit in a meditative state. His cloak covering his figure while a straw hat covered his visage. Upon inspection of the man one would find each article of clothing that was currently visible (The cloak and the hat) Had their own chakra signature. An odd occurrence indeed. Hidden beneath the garment was his usual Samurai-esk attire, with a sword strapped to his left hip and several scrolls placed on the small of his back. His lids would be closed as he dwelled on recent events in his life. The crimson orbs of the Sharingan would be hidden because of this, but it was active none the less. He would wait patiently for his opponent to show himself. Ryo would of course be molding chakra as to keep his sensing abilities active, as to find his opponent quickly.

[Garō, Ichirou]

Ichirou would step forth from his pocket dimension roughly 70 feet away from Ryoji, who sat in a meditative stance, Ichirou was quick to note the several chakra signatures emitting from the man as his Sharingan was active as well. the scarf of his attire draped down behind him, and his metal shoulder guards gleamed in the sun. Though it was currently unknown to his opponent, Ichirou's entire attire had been expertly crafted by himself and his blacksmith, his clothes were a combination of cloth, finely weaved Kokushin wire, and Koton steel. A rather durable work of armor, without appearing as such to the common eye. Ichirou gripped within his hand two kunai as he looked over to Ryoji, "Well I suppose we can get started then."

Ichirou Senju, A man he had faced in the past. He had longed to finish the battle they started not to long ago. Though this time would be different, as he had prepared for someone like him. Standing up quickly Ryoji would open his eyes to look upon his opponent. The new armor was sure to come into play at some point, though he knew not of its defensive capabilities. Releasing an exasperated sigh the Uchiha would form a single hand seal, and in a plume of smoke, two bunshin would appear, though they would not be the usual Kage bunshin that most used

(Raiton: Kage bunshin)

The first clone would lurch forward, attempting to cover the distance between them in a flash. If allowed to get close enough it would attempt to utilize it’s kenjutsu skill. Grabbing the hilt of it’s blade, the bunshin would perform the Iai beheading technique in which a swordsmen would draw his blade in the blink of an eye and attempt to decapitate his opponent, before sheathing his blade once more.

The second bunshin would flow through a very small string of hand seals before clapping his hands together preparing to use a jutsu akin to it’s current makeup. Meanwhile the original would reach back and draw one of the scrolls placed on his back.

[Garō, Ichirou]

Ichirou would take note of the clones as they were spawned, and as the first began it's move Ichi dropped his kunai and was quick to weave seven seals, and inhale deeply, taking note of the Kenjutsu stance the clone took as it approached, "Iaido." he thought to himself, his signature Kenjutsu style, interesting. However the clone would not make it to Ichirou, as it would be engulfed by a sea of flames, should it not dodge.

Katon: Gōka Messhitsu: Fire release: Great fire destruction

The flames would burst from Ichirou's mouth, and would move to encumber the clone as well as Ryoji if nothing was done to counter them, the flames would burn hot, and bright, they would travel 90 feet in total, covering the distance between the two as well as some space behind Ryoji, as he would unleash this attack, he would kick his two kunai to the side, causing the land roughly 20 feet away from him to the right

The clone that aimed to slice Ichi would fall victim to the flames he produced, exploding into a violent wave of raiton energy. This would not truly affect Ichirou, but it would happen none the less. The clone that had prepped the raiton jutsu would get into a couched position before launching itself high into the air above the wave of flames, releasing it’s jutsu down upon the Senju. The bunshin’s hand would cover itself in Raiton chakra before he would ‘throw’ it forward. With the aid of shape manipulation the lighting would fire off in the direction of Ichirou at immense speeds. The bolt of lightning would take the shape of a wolf as it moved forward in a zigzag pattern to make following it’s movements slightly more difficult. Should the attack make contact with Ichi he would find his body paralyzed from the high levels of Raiton.

Raiton: Raijū Tsuiga

 Meanwhile the original Ryoji would look upon the sea of flames with disdain. With the scroll in hand he would quickly sink into the earth beneath his feet. Utilizing the mayfly technique, his chakra signature would all but disappear, and only Sage level sensory abilities would be able to locate him. While under the earth he would quickly move to flank Ichirou while he dealt with the final clone.

The Fight was on, Ichirou took note of the attacks dealt by the clone, as well as disappearing Ryoji as his second clone was eaten by the flames, Ichirou would cease his technique, and quickly hiraishin to his Kunai, evading the raiton techniques as the last possible moment, as he teleported, he would look to the clone as his Mangekyo took shape, Ichirou would place a hand to his chest, and take flight to give him an advantage over his opponent, who had disappeared from the battlefield currently. Ichirou needed to keep max maneuverability to avoid raiton techniques. 

Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu-Earth Release: Light weight Rock technique

This technique would decrease the weight of Ichirou's body, as well as all things connected to it (ninja tools an items within pouches) this would allow him to take flight, but would decrease the force of his Taijutsu based attacks, Once Ichirou took to the air he would quickly weave six more seals, inhaling an exhaling a large fireball towards the clone (10ft diameter).

Whilst using the mayfly technique, Ryo would flow his chakra through the scroll in a minimal amount as to keep his location a secret still, as this miniscule spike of chakra would be lost among the mass of flames and Raiton from both parties scarring the earth above. Once his chakra was inside the scroll, all would seem to fall into place.

A small history lesson should be given at the origins of this particular scroll. Ryo had received several scrolls from a fellow shinobi known as Dark, and anyone who knew him, knew the nature of his set of abilities. These particular scrolls were made to counter those abilities in others.

Using the mayfly to free his head of the earth as Ichi was breathing out the fire technique, Ryoji, who’s eyes were now in their eternal form would initiate his attack. With the introduction of his chakra to the scroll, a massive barrier would seem to sprout almost instantly 90 meters in all directions with Ryoji being the epicenter. Unbeknownst to his opponent, anyone inside of this barrier would be unable to manipulate time and space to their will unless they had placed their chakra into the scroll. An unfortunate effect for one whom relied on his eyes and Flying thunder god so much.

As the barrier would become erect, Ryoji would activate the offensive version of his Kamui, with both his eyes, moving to cause a tear in space to appear in Ichirou’s back nigh instantly. (only a split second after the barriers erection.) Of course he took into consideration any flight pattern the Senju might take as a means of evasion to insure the attack struck. Should this work Ichirou would find his back collapsing in on itself, damaging the spine, and all of the surrounding organs, before disappearing altogether essentially carving out his chest cavity, causing an instant death.

Barrier/Kamui


Having already known the plan currently at hand, the clone would know with Ichi’s focus on him and not seeking out the original, things should be in the bag. With the large fireball being spit at him, the clone would have a small window of time to react, but he took it. At this point he was already starting his descent to earth, and thus he would take advantage of that. Ichi would be required to shoot the fireball at an upward, diagonal angle in order to hit him. With the aid of some aerial acrobatics the clone would maneuver himself so the fireball would just barely pass overhead, the heat making the Jink start to sweat a little. Reaching back he would draw two kunai before landing on the ground softly. He would wait to initiate anything , to see if the sneak attack had worked.

Current location of the participants are as follows. The original Ryoji is approximately 10 feet behind Ichirou, looking up at him to use Kamui. The clone is about 50 feet in front of Ichirou, looking up at him. 

[Garō, Ichirou]

Ichirou would be aware of the Kamui as it begun on him, this being a technique he was rather familiar with, having previously been a practitioner of such. Before the jutsu could claim him, He attempted to use his own Kamui to escape, but found it disabled, meaning that his opponent had knowledge of the Space Time Barrier, Just as Ichirou did. in the last possible moment he would split into two separate selves, to either direction of the space time void, however this did not result in a complete dodge.

Bunretsu no Jutsu: Fission Technique

This technique allowed Ichirou to split himselves into two separate bodies, at the cost of having 50% strength in either body, whenever Ichirou separated he managed to avoid the serious damage to either body, Though the Ichirou whom split to the right, recieved a devious injury to the arm, disabling it from battle for the time being,  Either Ichirou would dash back quickly, and seemingly vanish into thin air, escaping both visibility and chakra sensors, as if he had vanished from the battlefield.

Meisaigakure no Jutsu: Hiding with Camouflage

This technique allowed Ichirou to vanish from the battlefield, though it would only seem that way, his mastery of Doton allowed him to use this technique to an extent where not only his physical presence vanished, but his chakra signature as well.  This technique allowed Ichirou to gain a tactical advantage on the battlefield. Once Hidden the two clones would take flight, though this too would be unknown, as they gently lifted from the ground, careful not to give away their positions.

Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu - Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock technique

Once airborn, the injured of the two halves would descend far from the current battlefield, leaving the space time barrier (though currently unknown) and would proceed to begin funneling Medical chakra into his wound. Ichirou had trained himself in Medical ninjutsu for the most part, and found that he was only proficient with performing it on himself, and was unable to teach it. for now the Ichirou's would remain separated and hidden, awaiting his opponents next maneuver.

As the man would separate, Ryo would initially think it was a simple bunshin technique, but when the Kamui dealt damage to his body, nothing dispersed. It would be asinine to create a clone not to use it to dodge such an attack, so it must be something else. It must be the fission technique, as the chakra he sensed coming from his opponent would be split evenly down the middle. It was seeming more and more that Manji was the boy’s teacher, but that was for another time. As the pair would turn themselves invisible, they would /think/ that they were invisible to all that attempted to find them, but it seemed they overestimated their own ability. The fission technique would cut their overall abilities in half, so while the original would be able to hide themselves completely, the two would not be so powerful.

With the aid of Hiru, Ryo would be able to sense the negative emotions in his opponent, as well as find small traces of his chakra with his fine tuned chakra sensing. The Sharingan of course would aid in the search as well. Finding the men a distance away Ryo would smirk, for now Ichi would hopeful be unaware that he was detected so he would use this to his advantage. With his focus on healing, Ryo would allow his eyes to change shape into the Rinnegan. Raising his hands he would activate the Universal Pull technique to manipulate the gravitational pull between one of the clones (the uninjured hopefully) and the palm of his hand. With immense force Ryo would aim to drag the clone back into the limits of the barrier, and slam him with bone shattering force into the ground approximately 50 feet away from Ryo.

Banshō Ten'in

If this were to succeed (And even if it was only partially successful.) The raiton clone would draw a single Kunai, and with the Shunshin technique would aim to bring that Kunai enhanced with raiton chakra down onto Ichi with incredible precision aiming to slash his throat. This tactic would aim to take advantage of the fission’s halved abilities.

While this is happening, a large quantities of Cicadas would begin to pour from Ryo’s clothes and fill the air around him, buzzing in an agitated fashion. Some of the bugs within the swarm would hold the eye’s of the Rinnegan.

[Garō, Ichirou]

As the technique would begin to pull Ichi 1, he would realize immediately the technique in question, as he too was a practitioner of the Rinnegan. However once his body had begun to be pulled, he would simply slip a kunai forth from his pouch and drop it to the ground, before he could be pulled back into the barrier or struck with the lightning Kunai, he would utilize his Hiraishin to travel back to the Kunai he had placed, and pick it up, spreading the effects of the Meseigakure technique into his Kunai as he gripped it. It would be around this time that Ichi 2 would have finalized his healing process and utilizing the Hiraishin, joined Ichi 1's side before fusing back into his body, making him now much harder to sense due to his full power back in one body. Though the emotion seeking of the Reibi may be more successful than other means. For now however, Ichirou would mimmick his opponents actions, taking a scroll from his back and forming the seal of confrontation, he too would unleash a space time barrier to plague the battlefield. Ceasing his opponents space time within his, and his space time within his opponents. The clone being so close to Ichirou now, as with his sharingan active he merely had to focus his eye on the clone, seeing as the clone had merely moved to intercept Ichirou and there shouldn't have been a way for it to predict his teleportation. His focus on the clone should give way to a burst of black flames igniting it's body quickly and ending it's usefulness.

Amaterasu: Heavenly Illumination

If the clone were to move, Ichirou would delay his attack for the time being, but otherwise he would ignite it, which should appropriately incinerate it. For now Ichirou remained airborne, invisible by the effects of his technique excluding the brief moment his eye would pop back into view, long enough to cast his technique IF the clone even remained in it's location

Just for clarification, I gave rusaka an extra week to post due to issues irl (i think), it's currently day 17 of 21
