I don't think this forum allows for the spoiler tags, so please refrain from any spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet but still want to.

I haven't seen it yet, but I don't really want to either. I grew up with Star Wars, but have grown out of it I think. Maybe I'll watch it when it comes out on DVD.

Haven't yet, but going to later today I think. Have been hearing almost universally positive opinions, that its surprisingly dark too, although a handful of negatives ones too such as Disney having supposedly watered it down to childish levels or that one of the characters is basically just a female super hero of absurd levels to cater to feminists.

Saw it...very conflicted.

Its a good movie on its own, but if you're well versed with the source material then there's inevitably going to be parts that leave going just wtf.

All in all worth the watch, just don't expect it to necessarily live up to the massive amount of hype.

I would rather watch that than the damn Chipmunks v3 (4? Chipwrecked, oh yeah, so v4).

Apparently the schedule for the movies is that in between the releases of the main movies (Episode 7, 8, and 9) we will have spin-off movies. One that has already been announced is a Boba Fett movie.

With that in mind though I'm thinking at least 3 years between movies.

I have yet to the see the movie due to my night shift work schedule, plus the fact I do not like being out and about during the holiday season due to all the traffic. I plan to catch the movie sometime after the holidays, which I usually watch most movies weeks after they are released for it is not uncommon to get an entire movie theater to myself or most of it anyhow. Less distractions from people who for whatever reason can never put their phones down, and also screaming/irate children that parents fail to control properly and should have never brought with them to begin with.
