Cool Down Period Between Matches [Closed]

This rule goes into the Activity Clause. Please vote yes or no. If No, please provide your edited version of the rule.

  • Cool down periods are an optional break from back to back fighting in order to permit the host to heal and train with his beast. As such, a cool down period can only be announced after the successful conclusion of a match, and is not intended to serve as a general leave of absence. Should a host opt to take a cool down period, this may last no more than 7 days and must be announced with dates of duration to the host's forum thread for each beast that player may host. A cool down period from one beast a player hosts cannot be applied as a cool down period for all beasts under his control but must be bijuu specific.

I can edit taking that part out or clarify my intentions, which are...

If you host/own more than one beast, or have an alt with beasts, then the cool down period only applies to the character that just completed and won a match, not to your alts or to other beasts in your possession.

Example:

John has the characters Morpheus and Neo.

Morpheus has the 1 tails sealed and the 2 tails as a summons. Neo has the 5 tails.

Morpheus wins a match for the 2 tails summons and then requests a cool down. John only gets that for the 2 tails. John must still continue on schedule with duties related to Morpheus' 1 tails and Neo's 5 tails.

However; if the purpose of the cool down is to permit the CHARACTER to heal and train with his bijuu...then we might want to permit Morpheus to take that cool down with respect to all the bijuu he owns, while John would still have to do Neo's matches.

What we don't want is the following:

John is tired so needs a cool down on all his characters. Well too bad. IF you cannot handle running more than one character, then do not. This is not the purpose of the 'cool down between matches'. If you need a break then put in for a 'leave of absence'.

My vote is still beast specific only, not character specific. If you have multiple beasts you might be fighting for awhile, but 'tis the fight to be waged. The only potential issue is IC fights where you die in both at different times.

and as i stated, that is what it means. not to be transferred to other bijuu or alts. bijuu/character specific.
