Battle Method: 1v1 OOC death match

Special Rules:

-The match will be OOC for the benefit of both participating characters. This is essentially to prevent either playing from having to deal with the hassle of dying IC, and additionally leaves both participants free for IC RP during the match. Thus, though the match will be OOC, participants must still RP as their character, exactly as if they were IC, with the addition of following any decided voids, nerfs, etc.

-The match will strictly be 1v1, to prevent any complications arising from extra participants. The player remaining alive retains Saiken. The player that is killed will neither gain nor lose anything else. Essentially, this means the match is strictly about the beast and thus nothing else will be changed as a result.

-If desired, a logical RP can be worked out for a reasonable and plausible IC transfer of the beast to the next host.

-Despite the match being OOC, you need to learn of my possession of either beast before you may challenge for it. Thus, you may not challenge for them without proof of how your character learned of my possession of the beast. Once that is confirmed, a hunt/match is then reasonable and you will be put on the challenge list.

-No match will begin without a judge agreed upon beforehand.

-For anyone, including myself, participants will be allowed any common, general, and basic skills that their character possesses as long as those skills are backed by reasonable explanations (they have an existing explanation in the character’s RP history).

~If using any of the eight IG KG, the same system against combing rinnegan/sage, uchiha/hyuga, etc. applies. Any external or custom special skills will need to be accurately assessed and set before the match begins.

-Arguing is discouraged. I will talk over any concerns regarding the match with you if the conversation remains calm and logical. If it steps outside of that, then the judge will be asked to make a decision. Pointlessly bickering is not fun or useful for anyone.

-Participants will have fourteen days to post. If they wait longer than that period of time to respond to the other participant, the posting participant will win by default. In the case of an emergency, this may be reviewed and extended by a week, thus totaling a total allotted response time of twenty one days. However, if any post is discredited for rule-breaking and a repost is required, then that post does not count and the repost must be posted within the original timeframe. Should the challenger repeatedly wait until the last moment before posting, I reserve the right to disqualify the challenger from this battle. (This does not stop them from challenging a second time)

-If any of the rules set forward are broken, I reserve the right to cancel the match. This will not prevent you from re-challenging.

1 v. 1 OOC match

Setting: Zone 8

As the Host, I'll be posting first.

[Hazama]

Standing on the edge of one of the multiple cliffs was a large form, that stood at a towering six feet and seven inches tall. His hair fell down to the center of his back, having been cut not too long ago by his older brother, Asadi. He wore a white loose shirt over his chest, one that have no sleeves, and a pair of baggy sweat pants. He wore no shoes but even so, there was no dirt upon the man's feet. Wearing no sleeves, this fully exposed the tattoo on his left arm, though it doubled as a Fuinjutsu, that stretched from the back of his and up to his shoulder. Speaking of Fuinjutsu, two others rested on his form, the Eight Trigrams Seal on his stomach, and the other Fuinjutsu hidden on his neck. His golden hues looked down into the darkness of the caverns far beneath him, brows slightly furrowed upon his  handsome features,*Oi, is that who I think it is?*

The man let out a soft breath, releasing the tension in his face as he spoke out loud to the beast inside him,"Yeah it is... If he's back, then there's no question about Bocchiere." That got a sigh from both Saiken and Athos,*So?* He blinked slightly, waving his hand at the beast dismissively, though it'd look like he was just waving at air to anyone watching,"What do you mean 'So?'? So, we fight." The Tailed Beast let out a noise as though it was stretching, Athos' chakra pulsing strongly for a moment,*Just making sure.*

Athos hadn't felt Saejima's chakra, but more so his presence, his aura almost. There was some feelings you never forgot and that was one, though he would glance to the sky now, letting out a breath,"Maybe he's come to make peace, after all this time? An alliance?" That earned a snort from Saiken.

[Bocchiere]

Saejima would make his way into the area, approaching Athos from behind since the man was at the edge of a cliff. He wore the same torn green pants, shoes, and belt as before. The 3 Tomoe Sharingan was active in his left eye and he would activate the Byakugan in his right as well. 4 masks were attached to his back and would, to any Doujutsu, be visibly radiating 4 chakra signatures different from Saejima's.

He'd walk up to Athos, 30 feet behind him,

"Here we are again. You take a beast, one of us takes it from you. Honestly by now you must have spent as much time in the Pure World as here."

He'd crack his knuckles as he concludes,

"You must be missing your friends there, think it's time you took another vacation."

[Hazama]

Athos would have given the softest of sighs at the man spoke, turning on his feet so that the man could look at the long time enemy of his,"Always with the threats, don't you immortal-types ever try to switch up your speeches?" The tall man's arms would uncross from over his chest and fall to his sides, his shoulders rolling as he did this. Taking a deep breath of the air, his golden hues would watch Saejima closely as he had been cracking his knuckles. They knew what was about to happen, there was no denying that but, of course, there was that same old defiant smirk resting on Athos' lips.

"I'll have you know this won't go like all the other times, it's been awhile since we've tangoed, Saejima." And at that, he motioned for the man to come at him.

[Bocchiere]

Saejima grins sadistically and before his charge says,

"You're right about one thing, this time I won't leave a shred of you left to revive."

Rapidly closing the distance between himself and Athos, Saejima would lunge in and throw a punch aimed at the side of Athos' face, not at full power just yet, we wouldn't want to end the fun too soon after all.

[Hazama]

It seemed the time for banter at the moment was over as Saejima started his charge. Athos watched the man and instead of dodging or countering the blow, he let the strike connect, which caused his face to turn slightly as it was struck. What the hell?

But then, in retaliation to Saejima's strike, Athos' right hand would come up quickly to do the same to Saejima. His balled up fist carried just a bit more force behind it than other man but nothing he wasn't sure Saejima couldn't have handled.

[Bocchiere]

Saejima could not feel pain due to his Reincarnated body, but that did not mean he could not feel the force behind Athos' attack. As the man's fist connected Saejima would stumble back a step,

"I felt that one! Just a little bit!"

Saejima would roar and lunge forward again, balling up both fists and raising them above his head to bring them down in a dual hammer blow on Athos' shoulders.

[Hazama]

Athos thought about retorting to Saejima's words but before thinking of something witty, the immortal before him had decided to come forth with his attack. Athos' arms flew upwards over his head, crossing each over just beneath the wrists. The tall man bent his knees slightly, so he could stop the blow and both accept the force easily, ultimately leaving the attack harmless once it finally connected with Athos...

But that didn't mean the cliff the two were standing on had the same strength. As the blow connected with Athos' defenses, there would be a loud crack of Earth as the force from the blow traveled to the ground. The earth parted ten or so feet behind Saejima's feet, taking the footing from beneath their feet.

As their fall would start, their current destination being the deep, seemingly endless, canyon beneath them. But even as the ground shifted and their footing quickly being stolen, Athos twisted his body to try and drive a left kick into the, still hopefully exposed, stomach of Saejima. It had lost a lot of strength because of their footing but it'd be enough to separate them before the fall would fully start.

[Bocchiere]

Saejima would stumble back from the kick as the ground crumbled beneath his feet. As they began to fall he would extend threads from his legs to pull himself toward the wall of the canyon, pulling himself close enough to adhere his feet to it with chakra and begin running down the side. Keeping pace with Athos' presumed fall Saejima would kick off the wall with explosive force and launch himself at the Uzumaki head first. He'd attempt to use the speed to drive his shoulder into the man's stomach and send them both cannon-balling into the opposite side of the canyon wall with his Spear tackle.

As the Uzumaki had started his descent downwards, it wasn't hard for him to gain control of himself, managing to keep himself facing Saejima. As Saejima launched himself, Athos grit his teeth and prepared himself, the blow striking him directly where it had intended against his stomach. The force ripped him from the air and took him into the side of the canyon, creating a fair sized hole where both men would have been.

At this moment, though, Athos would take a page out of Saejima's book, his hands having raised above his head and intertwining fingers. With a blow that would rock Saejima's body, pain or not, Athos aimed to crash it into his exposed back with the intent to send him flinging downwards in a violent tumble along the canyon side, and back down into the darkness. The blow unintentionally aimed for a mask, threatening to destroy it and the heart inside, not like it'd make much difference regardless.

If the blow struck, mask destroyed or not, Athos would then move from where he was in the side of mountain. Summoning chakra to his feet, he could move along the side of the canyon as though it was flat ground, moving quickly to try and close the distance between him and Saejima.

Saejima would extend a thread all nonchalant like from his leg to have it attempt to wrap around Athos' ankle just before the man struck him. Saejima would go careening down the side of the canyon to the bottom, however the cord would go taught almost immediately and violently drag Athos down with him, if it connected.

[Hazama]

The moment that Saejima went flying downwards, there was a single moment when Athos felt the line tighten around his ankle and he knew what was about to happening. As predicted, the two would be sent violently tumbling down the side of the mountain, having fallen into darkness, the ground starting to come into view.

In the time they were falling and tumbling, Athos aimed to get his right hand on the thread that was wrapped around him. Once his hand was on it, his goal was simple, bringing his left fist outwards to slam into the side of the mountain. The force would cause the impact zone to crack and fall apart, but it'd also aim to send Athos off the side and towards the center of the canyon. Balled up, his body spun, aiming to bring Saejima with him and whip him around in a violent circle in the air.

Before summoning lightning to his hand each finger coated in something similar to Raikiri, aiming to severe the link between them. Had this all gone as planned, hoping to have caught Saejima off guard, the Edo Tensei would find himself flung with violent force in Athos' attempt to make him and the ground intimate friends.

Saejima's threads were a part of his body, and were of course filled with his chakra. Once they began to fall Saejima would use the Gentle Fist to flow the chakra into Athos' body via the thread and start to damage his internal organs, and would do so for as long as they were connected. Otherwise everything would go as Athos' planned and as Saejima crashed back first into the earth he would release his Curse Seal of the Asura and quickly get back to his feet, his body enveloped in the glowing red light of the expanding Curse Seal.

Though the Gentle Fist damaged him internal, it wasn't anything that his healing factors couldn't managed. Though, now that the two of them were separated, Athos made sure his eyes had found Saejima but now that they were in a different area, he would also active his Mind's Eye. Now that he would take in sight of their surroundings as he fell through the air towards the powering up Saejima.

*Alright Sai, he's here for you, time for us to give him some!* The beast didn't verbally reply, blue chakra coming to flow out around the man almost like an aura, one made of bubbling chakra. This was the odd Version One Cloak of the Six Tails Jinchuuriki and if there was any question, the two tails behind Athos' back would confirm it. If uninterrupted in his landing, Athos would land in a crater about thirty feet in front of Saejima.

As the light abated Saejima's skin would have taken on a deep red tone, his already large form had increased in height and width, his increased muscle mass visibly strained his skin and his hands were large enough for each one to engulf a man's head, spikes that seemed to be bone grew from his elbows and even larger ones grew from his back, his teeth grew to sharp points and two massive canines were more like tusks than teeth, and 8 horns would grow from his head, two curving downward from his jaw, four from each side of his head, and two larger horns curving upward from the top.



This was his special Curse Seal of the Asura, the second stage of it. Through Bocchiere's Juinjutsu and his own Sage Mode abilities they were able to create this seal that allowed Saejima to enter a monstrous Perfect Sage Mode form.

"No one's ever seen this form and survived. I doubt you'll be the first."

Saejima would declare dryly, his already deep voice lowered another octave to become positively demonic sounding.
