IC versus OOC Concerns [Discussion]
« on: February 05, 2016, 08:39:55 PM »

I think it might be helpful to explain a few things in order to point out the pros and cons between going the IC or the OOC route. So what sort of things might be added for the sake of clarity? Or do you even think that something like this is needful?

*] IC versus OOC Concerns

The OOC Host/Summoner:
*Does not need to RP being sealed.
*Does not die unless agreed upon during terms of the match.
*Does not lose ownership of their body in the event of death unless agreed upon, hence is not subject to have techniques stollen through means of body examination techniques, nor losing possessions with them at the time of the match. This includes additional bijuu they may possess.
*Does not face the possibility of becoming an Edo Tensei unless agreed upon during terms of the match.
*May continue RP during the OOC match, but must stop using his beast in RP in the event of a loss once his RP is concluded. This is to avoid disrupting the RP timeline for others involved.
*These stipulations also apply to the challenger.

The IC Host/Summoner:
*RPs being sealed or acquiring summoning tattoo.
*RPs extraction of bijuu or removal of sumoning tattoo.
*Subject to death, becoming an Edo Tensei, having techniques acquired through body examining techniques, and loses possessions with them at the time of their death.
*If a host is killed before extraction, the bijuu will respawn at the site of death in 7 days. The beast will be GM'd by an appointee of the council.
*If a host also possesses a bijuu as a summons, and is killed, it is possible the hunter will acquire the summons through some RP means, IE: tattoo transference.
*These stipulations also apply to the hunter.
