You have to get I believe 3 resets in Sage mode before it starts getting breezy, but I think Rinnegan is easy mode from day one of first reset...

That wasn't my experience. I've maxed at least six accounts and on each one they didn't get uber easy until third reborn with the mutt. Maybe the changes neji made to the rinnegan came after i did the reborns but again, it's just my experience

This is all rather entertaining but Neji has already spoken on this topic extensively and even after that he's not only boosted Hyuuga's turns but to be fair also nerfed sharingan's debuff in an effort to balance things out a bit more. There can be changes made to all KG's but are they going to be made reality? Probably not. Will Mokuton get an actual attack or will Kaguya become more chakra effective? Probably not. But nice ideas all the same  8)

Village Square / Re: Village Barriers
« on: January 02, 2013, 05:52:58 PM »
the village defense system is the responsibility of the Kage of that village to put into place and will have to be taken care of on a village to village basis.

again, making rules that other people HAVE to abide by is a bit high handed, guys.

And yes, Suna never put one up. We fight old school style when we fight at all.

so...if Iwa  and Konoha wish to take their barriers down or adjust them to this sensing sort mentioned, then sure. go right on and do it. But don't expect Kiri and Kumo to jump on the band wagon and make that choice for them.

I like the old style defense systems best. Traps and the sort. But that is just me.

I was not trying to govern anyone's rp or to tell anyone what to do all I said is that the barriers are OP on many levels and this topic was made for all the villages to discuss the said topic. If we could all agree to take them down I think that would be wonderful if not then in my opinion it is a shame as they really do hinder rp... villages are meant to be attacked this is a Shinobi World. I just don't understand why you wouldn't want your village to participate in an event like an attack. I am not saying I enjoy watching my village get attacked but the rp during such is quite enjoyable indeed and in the end we are here to rp.

My decision stands. I'll lower the chakra affecting barrier (which i can raise at will anyway) But the detection barrier and one that prevents space time jutsu remains. Kumo law. If people want to attack none of Kumo's barriers or defenses should affect the rp of an attack so i see no reason to do away with them.

I learned through battles so i'd say early on it was

Kayenta
Raifudo
Tetsujin
Jin
Mei
Mariko

Other than those in the beginning i've learned from everybody i've ever encountered on SL. So i guess SL taught me  8)

Village Square / Re: Challenging for canon items
« on: December 26, 2012, 02:50:23 PM »
Would one have to battle the Kage of the village or have a small skirmish with the village itself?

Whoever directly holds it. In the case of a village-owned item, the village itself would need to be battled into submission; alternatively locate the item and swipe it.

Nah i think the individual holding it would do. Think about it, if someone has a SSM sword for example. If someone killed the swordsman and took the sword while they were away from the village then the sword would be just gone

Generalization: All fanon barriers are removed, yes?

Actually no. The barriers being up or down will be dependant on the current reigning kage. Saying "fanon" barriers being removed doesn't change the fact that there are OP canon barriers.

Village Square / Re: Bijuu Mastery
« on: December 18, 2012, 06:20:37 PM »
One per month should only be fair and legit. To master your Bijuu, you require a perfect sin to enter your mindscape, a calm mind to prevent yourself from being taken over the power of the Bijuu, physical shape to withstand the risks on accessing your Bijuu form at one to whatsoever tail and a great bond with the said Bijuu to access Bijuu Mode as just by mastering all tails won't unlock it. Both the Bijuu and its host has to agree on going Bijuu. It will also require a lot of zone training to gain control of your Bijuu. It took Naruto and Killer Bee a decade or more just to become good friends with their Bijuu and gain access to their Bijuu mode. The only reason Gaara had access to his Bijuu Mode at an early age was because he was once along with the Shukaku, an psychopath who only wanted to kill everyone.

A tail per month is more than reasonable. The KG reducing time was just talk with nothing put into the final rules.

It's just a bit of a issue having to potentially fight the same person twice a month or kill them in RP  :o

Again, it's Luka, just kill him, he's been dead this whole time anyway.

How many times should a person have to be killed before they stop though?

Village Square / Re: Official rules of Edo Tensei
« on: December 11, 2012, 10:51:25 PM »
I believe we took infinite chakra away. The same for summoning them. After they're released once then they're done even if they're souls aren't trapped in something like the Totsuka Blade.

Actually sealing them away i think should depend on the sealing jutsu used. For example, if someone uses reaper death seal i don't care that soul ain't coming back

Well, the seal does matter but the new rule is that, say the zombie is released due to emotions or something, even though it's soul isn't sealed somewhere like the Totsuka Blade or Reaper Death Seal you still won't be able to bring it back to life.

I'm referring to sealing them while they're still under the influence of Edo. If one gets sealed a certain way then that means the Edo user just lost a zombie

I haven't been in a bijuu fight in a very long time; someone refresh me how often people actually decide to fight against a host?

I don't mind the change of challenge; only thing is, we'd need a place where we can post proof of the challenger and the name, etc.

Also, that raises up the question of: What if they change personas? Still same person, different account -- or different name, same account.

That's what i'm getting at. If you have knowledge or reasonable reason to believe that it's the same person on a different account the same rule should apply. I'm just saying. Currently the situation is i believe after another two week grace period they can challenge again. That needs to go

Village Square / Slight change to bijuu rules
« on: December 11, 2012, 09:11:52 PM »
Based on events and even the past i want to put it to a vote to make one change to the bijuu rules. This will probably change either the grace period or the chance to challenge rule. However i think jinchuuriki should only be allowed to challenged by the same person a max of 2 times within a three or six month period. There's no reason why someone would have to keep fighting the same person over and over again because they challenged, failed and tries to challenge again right away.

Thoughts?
