One Piece Theme?
« on: September 09, 2006, 03:52:28 AM »

This may or may not be relevant to the forum, but hopefully someone can at least point me in the right direction.

I've enjoyed Shinobi Legends for awhile now. Naruto is a fun series, and it's a blast to take a step into the ninja world. I've recently heard of a Bleach theme of LotGD, though I haven't found a link for it. This made me think, would it be possible for a One Piece theme? It's an equally fun story and it's adventure and sea-faring style would fit the game play very well I think.

This probably sounds very random coming from a total noob, but One Piece has a sizeable fanbase so I was hoping the idea wouldn't be too farfetched. If I'm asking the wrong people, could someone point me in the direction of the right people to ask?

Thanks for hearing me out. :)

we are working on a bleach theme, but that takes time... as it can't be done that "easy" as it was with naruto.

naruto has certain social structure, many equal (villages) "races" and so on... it is compatible.

bleach is... harder. it would be a great ego-shooter, but it is very hard to do as a role playing game =) with an engine of lotgd behind.

I have to make coding adaptions before we can even think of a testing area.

well taboo, i know pirate themed site: puzzlepirates.com its not that bad. but it gets boring once you have a crew, all types of ships, a flag(group of crew). especially when some noob of a pirae comes and says cool a crew, can i be captain. man so i gave it up to one of my rl freinds.

I understand. Bleach does seem like a difficult series to make an RPG out of. :p Well, maybe when you guys are done, you might give a thought to an One Piece theme. It'd probably be alot easier because of the various islands and such.

Thanks for working hard. :) Can't wait to play the bleach version!

Another server (for the start) is no bigger problem.

It is just *a real bunch of work* doing the setup, making the texts, etc...

bleach is hard to make, you're right, that's what takes up the most time =)
