Who doesn't want to be a mod?

There's a lot of new applications.. but I actually thought there would be more. A lot of people I've never even heard of.. but there are defiantely some strong and active people up there... I didn't apply because I thought there would be better qualified people who are more known in the game. I just like to play the game, I don't need power or prestigue to do that. Why didn't YOU apply?

Too much responsibility. Sure it looks glamorous with the power that comes with it, but when it comes down it, I know I'm too lazy to take on a job of such high maintenance.

You really have to be dedicated to become a mod... I don't believe that most people who actually want to be game mods are actually qualified or up for the job.

The only mod I really want to be is a forum mod. A game mod is meh.

I really wouldn't know what to do as a mod if I were to ever become one... I'm on the game a million times a day so activeness is no problem, but I don't know a lot of the game secrets or any handy computer knowlege that would make me a good candidate. I love to help people and I love things to be organized and working right, but.. I don't think a mod is where I'm ment to be in the world. ^^;;

But.. I hope whoever is chosen will be a good one, and someone that I can respect. I would hate to see an unqualified mod up there..

Being a game moderator is fshging horrible sometimes. Sure it's all candy sometimes and you get to kick some ass at certain times of day, but it causes a lot of stress. The more and more dedicated you become to being a moderator here deteriorates your teenage life (assuming your a teenager).

I knew what being a moderator was about when I requested it back in June or whatnot. I knew the responsibilities, the consequences to foolish decisions, the dedication it required. Done it before. The glory isn't worth it sometimes, and people think you get respect because of status. You're wrong. Most moderators are disrespected, but the offenders usually refuse to show it out of fear. I'm sure that everybody has had a moderator scramble before on previous sites or games, and they're not pretty. But listen to this.. a staff being unjust means you should stand your ground.. unless they deliberately proved that what you did was unnecessary, inappropriate, or just indubitably wrong.

hmm abyss i wonder why?

i must admit being a gamemaster certainly sounds more attractive than a mod, but since i still wanted to try my luck ( however bad it is) by throwing my application in.

Posting according to the title, i would guess those who are lazy and incompetent, those who  barely know anything about the game and those who feel that they cant do enough for the game.

I want to be a Game Master for a few reasons.
1) I want the "/game" command.
2) I'm WAY to irresponsible to have enough influence to ban people.
3) I like the title. Mihamaru the Game Master...  :D
