He or she wasn't afraid of the event, but was afraid of losing the perfect record that was accumulated.  In the end, the person didn't know about the pvp system, but most obviously knew about the safety zone.  On top of everything, the person got a chance to boost his/her number of posts in the forum without going to the spam folder.   

You're pretty smart.  But it doesn't help any in knowing my game name.

Actually, I could care less who you are.  I don't let one player ruin my enjoyment of the game and I won't obsess over who a player is or why he or she does what they do.  It's obvious that you aren't that strong, because if you were you would proudly shout out your game name.  Also, the strong players in Shinobi Legends don't brag about their accolades because they know that others will notice it without all the self promoting talk. 

Back to the topic or the penguins will have another reason to seek revenge.

I feel old, telling these stories of early Shinobi Legends.     (When it comes to telling old stories it should be left to people like KB)  Anyway most of the veteran members in the forum will be able to share a story of meeting a penguin in the forest.  About a year ago penguins were running loose in the forest, why?  Because of the threads....they weren't very happy with the mods and especially the shinobis that were killing off their family members. 
Now a lot of time has passed since the last time they were let loose, so we can only expect them to be much more powerful than they were a year ago.  Many of the veteran shinobis that are still here are survivors of that event.  Of course, we have plenty of shinobis that weren't able to survive the angry penguins.

I remember the Penguin Event.  That was a long, long time ago when that happened.  I can't believe you remembered that event.  Some people made it through like all of the mods we have now, but alot of young ninjas didn't make it.  Oh well..........I've gotten a lot stronger since that event. I'm ready for it.  If I remember correctly if you defeated the penguins you got something good, I just forgot what it was because its been so long since we had the penguins mount their forces.
