If memory serves me right i saw the 1st episode didnt like it.(it was at the middle) then I started watching it on the beginning of the Zabuza arc. Then during that month break from Naruto for the anime movies i learned about the manga.

my friend nia made me start watching stuff like FMA and inuyasha....

then i saw the ad for NAruto and watched... thoguth it was boring but gave it a chance and watched a few more eps...

i got hooked around the end of teh zabuza arc and a week later i had finished all the japanese episodes out in that time period
