Generations
« on: July 24, 2009, 10:55:55 PM »

Cause i don't want to take any chances of putting a topic like "Old days" off-topic...let alone be blamed for it but want to continue this idea...

Our problems:when i talk about old generations i mostly mean the very first ones on Sl up to an year from when it started...but i also slightly mean the people like me that have been from an year or 2 cause i find some of the problems i will point in each category ones i suffer of,well not to many or even none of the new one..but i am not claiming to be part of the old i do not deserve such a thing or feel worthy of it.

Old generation:The problem with us is that we  usualy don't even consider the new onee and think that just because we were here before means we are always right and have nothing to learn from them...of course i do agree we have much more to teach them than they have to teach us...they from us...me from you...etc...
We sometimes forget that even if the most of a new generation IS IDIOTIC,ARROGANT WITH NO BASE,GOD MODS BEYOND THE LVLS OF RETARDED*calms down*pms us with dumb msgs like: can i please have 25 dp(mostly alts tho xD) or WAAAANAAA BEEEEE FRIIIIIIIIEEEENDS,we should not forget that there are some out there that might turn out to be like the ppl we miss so much..or have as much potential as  we did or even more...and by downing them puting them in the same bowl we  are hurting feeling especialy of those that look up to us cause we know more and are stronger...one of the worst things for young ones of the new generations is to be turned down and even be disapointed by those that they look up to or even theyre idols...we never put ourself in the place of these kind of ppl of the new generation.

New generation:Most of us get to excited...some of us are so hyper and pump out that we refuse to believe in ration and logic themselves thinking we just got to this but we can already beat the elite...that the fact that your older here doesent mean that you know more and have more experience or are stronger(SERIOUSLY WTF?!)we refuse to believe that rankings are different from naruto and how we ahve to fight by our ranks mostly because we want to be just like Sasuke-genin or Naruto(never god moded my rank, might have auto-hit or use a jutsu the wrong way but only by mistake,i even find god moing worst than being a pathetic fighter even among acads-_-;)We also want to get in the attention of the cool and strong guys here and we act like idiots regardless in waht manner and without thinking how they may actually really look at us...also not putting our self's in they're place for example working hard to reach a rank or gain a certain KKG  and we use it like i would be nothing when it took others 4 years to reach that certain point.
side note:The reason i hate god moding the most besides the fact that i feel as if i were scamed for all the dp i earned and bought -_-...Is that lets say theres 4 god  moding genins and 200 fair ones...many of them will be drawn in the direction of it it to fight on an equal lvl with the 4.

Generation switch
As we grow we understand and become or think what we hated the most which is usualy directed in a good direction
for example i used to be an awfull speller...well not as bad as the worst half of bad spellers but not to much above it...trough i was advancing decently fast but slightly slow as well in this matter....I hated to get corrected and i was like its not my foulght im not from england canada or US(i find it funy when ppl from there type much worse than i used to)And well i held a strong antipathy against Dark(No one is saying this changed to much >_>;) and the others "asses" that corrected me and downed me  in a rude manner but this made me improve by at least 400% of what my normal rate would have been and i now spell almost perfectly...and find it really bothering when someone frequently makes tens of spelling mistakes

Of course there are good people in each generation >_>
I actually arrived in the game when the idiocy level started jumping back just before 2006.
It's just that the bad outweighs the good.

We older players just liked it back then. Even acads rarely begged for points. Abby just helped me when we became friends.

But the new generation now inhabits SL, and there are maybe 3 or 4 people that have been here the whole time...

It used to be called Legend of Naruto.

No, Legend of Naruto was the previous name of Shinobi Legends, same game.
and yeah, I liked it before,  few people  begged for points, it was peaceful xD

And a lot of the text was Logtd-based because Neji hadn't changed a lot of it, so some events/places were funny.

...AND THE FOREST CREATURES HAD NO PICTURES! >_>
But everyone suicide searches, so that wasn't a big deal, actually...

Look what you've done! You've made another reminiscing topic! >_>

But that was a different cake!
I think. That cake was for something.

I had the giant cookie with the picture of me on it in all my pasty glory.

You can say Peter, Shikki knows my name. And Abby and Doom and most other people.
It's okay, because I know all their names.

And Shikki has my phone number, and he happened to live here once so he knew what the area code meant and knows where I live! T_______T
