Seriously? That was a long-range genjutsu. Sasuke was nowhere near him and the genjutsu was cast. Simple as that. And we'll see what happens. But according to what Raikage's said, he's fought Sharingan users in the past (remember, they were at war). Don't think he'll get caught in a simple genjutsu like that.

I dont recall Raikage saying he fought against a Sharingan users in the past. All he said was that "Your Sharingan is no match for me!"
I also dont recall Raikage (and his village) being at war with Sharingan users either.
Tsuyukomi is not a "simple genjutsu".

Sasuke didn't seem to have moved. I think the whole sharingan eyes means the genjuts started. Same thing happened with Deidara. And saying that he knows what the sharingan is means that he's probably fought one ot two in the past. Hell, he's even known Kakashi's chidori/raikiri (but then again, Kakashi's famous). And Konoha was at war with the Cloud Village. Or did you forget about the whole hyuuga thing? And Tsuyukomi's pretty simple if you know how to avoid it. Can't use it on a blind guy.

The Sharingan has been in the series for a while now. You dont have to fight a Sharingan user to know what they are capable of. Even Zabuza knew what the abilities of the Sharingan are and that was most likely his 1st fight against a Sharingan user, Kakashi: http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/12/06/
Even if Raikage did fought against a Sharingan user, that Sharingan user didnt have Mangekyou Sharingan. Tsukuyomi is pretty simple huh? We already have seen so many ppl get caught by a regular Sharingan genjutsu, who's to say they wont get caught by a Tsukuyomi as well.
Why would some1 waste a Tsukuyomi on a blind man? >.>

It sounds like you're hating on Tsukuyomi >.>

Yea I already know that regular genjutsu doesnt require eye contact but thank you for sharing that common knowledge as I was specificially talking about Sharingan genjutsu.
However I would also group Itachi's finger genjutsu as a Sharingan genjutsu as well.  

And your post just contradicted yourself, you know. Originally, you are the one that claimed that Raikage fought against a Sharingan user before. How are you supposed to know who the Raikage fought? You're not Kishi. You dont know the Raikage's past. I already proven how some1 can know the abilities of a Sharingan user w/o necessarily fighting against one before. However, Raikage mentioned ONE line about the Sharingan and you assumed he fought against it before. Nice. >.>

You can hate on the Sharingan all you want but let's not forget that it was Kishi himself that created such a thing. Go vent your frustration on him. >.>

Personally, I think this has been one of the best chapters in a while. Raikage pulled off a power-bomb and ended the chapter with a Hogan leg drop!
