Author Topic: The age of the Internet – Are we doomed to end up as “fat couch potatoes”?  (Read 31959 times)

Why are people still buying DVD’s when we can watch every movie online with a live stream program? Why are we still leaving our house when we are even able to shop your daily needs and food online and get it delivered to your doorstep? buy your games at online stores such as www.cdkey-game.com who post it straight to your email account and you’re not even to be bothered with opening the package? We can raise online pets, have virtual social life in chartrooms, and kill our time in various ways…
Is the human being doomed to end up as fat never moving “couch potatoes”?
What are your opinions?

My opinion is that Ice cannot tell what a spambot looks like. >>

Not really. Anything with a link in the middle surrounded by questions is a spambot.

I remember I was at a friends place, and he was talking to this smart as Spambot. It was in an IM thingy and it slowly lead him to the link and asked for Credit Card details. lol

IM bots are more clever. >_>
They're usually actual people, though.

Stupid Ice and your ability to write script... >_>
I swear, we learn absolutely nothing in school. Three years of forced computer science classes, and all we do is go over how porn isn't allowed on school websites.

I appeared to have a natural gift for Coding, I would work through all the things we were given in class, then had heaps of free time to do whatever I liked, so I made useless programs so I could experiment with code etc...

Our instructor would always be like "sure, we'll learn some coding" but he never even ordered the books. >_> All we did was projects on the history of the interwebz. Over and over again.

Our teach made us do internet tutorials half the time... hence I could quickly get them done.
Actually that is basically all we did at Uni to...
