I know, it's more of an experiment. Last semester I didn't really do much, and I still passed, but not that much greater than a pass.
So I thought, if I studied, I wonder what will happen.

I honestly just need to maintain a B average or higher to keep myself out of trouble, and to keep my financial aid and whatnot from being jeopardized.

Besides, I've got subjects that I'm actually interested in, or have taken already for this first year since it's just basic classes before I'm allowed to do upper division classes. And, I've got the luxury of trying random classes from different fields to see if there's anything that I like better than the whole biology/environmental/medical thing I've got going right now.

I should've started looking at scholarships when I started high school. I'd have enough to pay what's not covered for the first couple of years saved up by now from some I was qualified for, but didn't apply to because I wasn't thinking.

You have to be super smart here to get them in the first year, but after that I hear they're easy. Especially for Engineering, cause the big companies are just throwing Money at the Uni. We have this fancy as First year learning centre, plasma screen TV and everything.
