A second Kabuto match...
« on: October 11, 2006, 03:08:42 AM »

Maybe, after someone kills Kabuto a lot, there could be a little change with Kabuto. First you would need to kill him. And when you go to etch in another Kabuto kill, you could see him get up in the corner of your eye. He would then say something like,
"You may have defeated me before...But this time, I've got something special I want to show you..."
He could then glow and begin to change shape.
It would then say, "Beware, you have pushed Kabuto over the edge...Prepare to face...KABUTOPS!"
You would then battle Kabutops, who would have a lot higer health and be harder to kill.

Kabutops is a pokemon. I was just thinking it would be funny for someone who has killed Kabuto many times, and end up seeing him turn into a pokemon

Good idea, but maybe we could just have Kabuto heal himself:

As you etch another mark in the cave wall, you see Kabuto leaning against the wall with his muscles knitting back together.  "You have faced me one too many times.  I know all of your attacks and I heal the damage from them.  Now you will die for causing me so much pain." He lunges at you, fully healed.

Healed Kabuto lunges at you with Poisoned Needles!

Victory Message:

You plunge your [weapon] deep into his chest and kick him a few times.  He's dead.
You finish etching your mark on the cave wall.

Are you serious?

I don't think there needs to be a second level to kabuto, at my rank he is pretty hard.

Well then maybe instead of killing him once, he just says. "Welcome, I've been waiting for you. I wanted to show you my new power..."
And then he "evolves" into Kabutops and you fight him.

It should just stay the way it is. I mean if you were badly beaten by Kabuto when you defeated him, then he just regenerates, no one would want to seek him out. That is like a lesser form of Orochimaru just regenerating once you are down to like 50 HP.

Sometimes for me he can be harder than orochimaru. The only thing that makes oro tougher is the snakes he has. I honestly don't see this idea going anywhere.

I think deadkat's idea is pretty cool, but Kabuto is a tough guy to beat...and I dunno about you guys, but I'm usually in less-than-stellar health by the time I finish him off >_> So I probably wouldn't want to fight him if I knew he was going to regenerate. Like everyone else is saying. *is a big chicken*

Nah, no pokemons in the game.

Kabuto is a "boss" in between the levels... just halfway to Orochimaru...

I think a second would only spoil it...

how about there would be a "rare" time when after you defeated kabuto so many times that one of the sound 5 ninja's *randomly* takes over like:

kabuto... you did your part for lord orochimaru, now let me take care of this..

something similiar to that but each of the 5 nins will say different sayings
