what I understand so far is that those who have the Sharingan can't get the Byakugan, but they can get the 8 gates.
lol maybe I am wrong, but that is what I understand  :roll:

I agree, but accordin to the manga they all require unique abilities, which means that not everyone  can learn them, for instance to use the gates a person must be able to open them , for Satetsu be able to convert your chackra into a magnetic field and for mokuton be able to do 2 simultaneous nature manipulation(one in each hand , while for Hyuuton,whiich is a kg, the basic chakra of any clan member is of 1 nature manipulation: ice , or at least i believe in this, since haku could use 1 handed jutsus)

Hyouton is the same as Mokuton.
The only difference is while Mokuton is Earth+Water, Hyouton is Wind+Water

From what I understood from the anime/manga was that the technique that Haku used was unique to only him and his family, hence a KG

i never said that hyouton wansnt a kg, what i said is that mokuton is something developed through an abilitie , which is doing 2 nature manipulations at the same time,one in each hand, while hyouton the chakra of the the entire body is from one nature manipulation, ice, even though its created with the fusion of 2,wind+water.

PS: Hyouton and haku's skills are slightly different. Haku can create Ice, hyouton is like what the snow nin in the movie did, and simple manipulate already existing Ice. Haku= KG, Snow nin arent
