So what we think of as Jikukan Ido and Kamui are actually both Kamui. Apparently being different versions of the same jutsu. Does that mean I can use Kakashi's and Obito's version in a single eye? Cuz that would be handy.

Also, kinda related to this. That jutsu Obito does where he makes the fire turn into a twister with space time manipulation. Could I do that to deflect attacks? Like if someone threw a kunai at me and I made the funnel spiral inward, and then stopped it, would the kunai fly in the direction it was being twisted? Or would it snap back to normal because it was space being warped and it wasn't really moving, or something?

My understanding of it was that unless you completely warp it then nothing would happen and it would carry on. Just like how he couldn't partially teleport Minato before he teleported. It'd have to be all or nothing

Nothing. You're sending things to another dimension. The same dimension they themselves can Kamui from. That actually makes sense now why Obito knew that Kikashi's kamui wouldn't work on him.

Kakashi attempts to Kamui the Mazo's head off, but Obito turns his head so he could Kamui-cancel it.

But this brings up another subject. Would all eyes capable of using Kamui lead to the same dimension, or would everyone have their own personal dimension?

I think Kamui is special to Obito alone. Just like how some other abilities are, which is why Obito wanted Danzo's sharingan (the one in his eye socket). In other words, Bocchi, you cannot claim Kamui >=D

If that was the case then ONLY I would have Kamui. >> There was that thing from the data book though saying if you train for long enough it is possible to use Kamui though. So we know multiple can have it.

With a technique like that, i'm surprised someone hasn't claimed it and placed it on the profile.wikia. There's a huge problem with everyone claiming there own dimension.

There's a couple more techniques that aren't claimed that should be for obvious reason...
