Volunteers for Biju Council Thread
« on: September 06, 2016, 05:00:55 AM »

All things considered, the matters of biju have been fairly, dormant for some time now. Of course, with that being said, between activity of current Council Members and the need for an upcoming election, some volunteers, preferably eligible (not be a jinch or a kage I believe), would be nice to see if we can actually have an election. If the number of eligible volunteers equals the number of slots to fill, then other than incumbents competing for their position, all of those may as well be considered candidates and we can move on to the election stage.

If you wish to volunteer, post "I volunteer as tribute" or something to that jazz so that it is obvious that you want to be a candidate. I'll try to keep track of volunteers in a list on this post, as to make life easier.

Something tells me there won't be a lot of volunteers xD

But, without a doubt, I am willing to make this sacrifice!

But there are some. I, for example, really like being on the council and handling this stuff, but have no desire to be a kage/host/etc. Even after all of the heat we took during this redistribution... I still like it. (Call me crazy)

So Hades...does this mean you volunteer for round 2?

When are elections and how many open spots will we have?

I hope to have 7 or 9 members on the council. And as I have previously said, and reiterated over and over again, the interest to be on the council is there. Glad to see people accepting that fact now. ^^

Technically December 4, 2016 since the 1st Cohort was put in June 4 (6 month tenures is the current rule) BUT, either that election needs to happen sooner or elections for replacing Silver and anyone else not wanting to participate in the Council need to begin.

I've shown my interest before but I'll say it again, I'm down to join the council as well.

As for this...

Holding them a month earlier wouldn't really hurt anyone, right? o.o I mean, should get to picking while the pickings hot, right? Unless there is someone really that against this idea.

You know there is a structure for the council thread people should be commenting upon. And how long between elections is one of those points to be determined.

Anyone could start a vote thread on just that one aspect alone...
