Wind Country Improvements

Well, the Wind Country is currently the most empty country on the server. My 1st idea, the blacksmith failed but I'm not giving up so here's some more ideas =D  <---nuts

Kankuro's Puppet Workshop
Enter/Leave
a) Touch the hairy puppet with many arms
    > You found some gold in one of its hands
    > The puppet suddenly attack you with a poisonous needle
b) Touch the barrel-like puppet
    > A gem fell out from its eye
    > A child was trap inside the puppet (release the child/activate the trap)
c) Touch the puppet that looks like Kankuro
    > You admire just how much better you look (gain charm)
    > The puppet suddenly laughed and send you running out of the 
       creepy place, almost wetting your pants.

*These are the only ones I can think of for now. It would be even better if we had more out come*

Temari's Bar
a) Talk to others
b) Buy drinks
c) Watch Temari does the fan dance (gain/lose charm)

Turn the beastiry into a puppet shop and buy a puppet as a mount...awesome..

Not bad though on those other ideas...I like the child getting caught in one...Heh heh heh...I'd activate the trap for sure..  :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Ooh, I like.  Wind country does need more stuff.  It's kind of like the Old House, except...not.  Although I do agree that the second one needs something bad that can happen.  Maybe you can get trapped in there and lose some hp?

I think he meant something bad that can happen to you. I'd say "You try and release/activate the trap and a suntanned Lebis jumps out from behind the puppet and throws sun tan lotion your face." "You lose a charm point!"

Having a list of puppets could buy be great. Think about it only Wind Country known for puppets. Later on give the listings of all the puppets , then prices we could use.

I just had what I think might be a good idea for letter "b". With the increased interest among players of being good or evil, this event could push a player a little more from one-side to the other. Either it could be one option of "Try and release the child" after discerning that the child was in the puppet with a fifty-fifty chance of saving or killing him, saving making you good, and killing making you evil, or it could be done another way, which is this: You could have two options, one being "Set the child free" and the other being "Activate the trap", one making you good and the other evil, which one is which should be obvious, but also include a fifty-fifty chance of either selection having this outcome:

"You attempt to *whatever you chose*, but despite your best efforts one thing leads to another and you exchange places with the child. How it happened you can't fathom, but as a result you a.(are stuck in the trap until a kind soul or fool realeases you. *lose one turn*) or b. (are hit with the trap you attempted to activate and lose half your hit points *not permanently*)."

I think those would be fairly good options. Tell me what you think.

Karasu (烏, "Crow") is  Kankuro
 first puppet Kankuro.

Price : 15 gems


Kuroari (黒蟻, "Black Ant") is Kankuro's second puppet.

Price : 30 gems


Sanshōuo (山椒魚, "Salamander") is Kankuro's third puppet.

Price : 50 gems


Hiruko (ヒルコ) is Sasori's favourite puppet. Hiruko has a mechanical tail extending from the mouth of what appears to be a mask on his back, the left arm is something that appears to be a large studded projectile capable of firing shrapnel, and the clearly artificial mouth opens to reveal a projectile-firing device. Unlike other puppets, this is worn by the user.


Price : 63 gems


Haha (母, "Mother") and Chichi (父, "Father") were Sasori's first human puppets, created from, or in the image of, his parents. These were probably left behind by him in the village, and are used against him.


Price : 71 gems


Third Kazekage Puppet .

Price : 100 gems




The Chikamatsu Collection is summoned by Chiyo using White Secret Technique: Ten Puppet Collection of Chikamatsu. They were his ten puppet masterpieces, and are effective enough to take an entire castle. Several work in unison, and even seem to use a ninjutsu technique. They are devastating in the right hands.

Price 350 gems consideriung how deadly al of them are , or seperate them .

But if puppets were made buyable, I'd kind of like to see a feature that would make them different from mounts.  I have no idea what though...

Letting the child out can have many out comes,
release the child
> The child calls you a "sucker" as he/she ran out the door, you check your pockets and notice that some of your gems/gold have been stolen!
> The child thank you gratefully and hands you a gem/some gold. You feel good about yourself.
> You force open the puppet's body and let the child out but you tripped and got trapped inside instead.
activate the trap
> You watch as blood oozes out from the gap on the puppet's barrel-like body. You grins from ear to ear and left the child to rot.
> The puppet suddenly opened it's body and lunges at you. Now you are trapped. It took you awhile to yourself out but you found a few gems/some gold while you were inside.
> You feel a shiver down your spine as hear the child's screams fade. You ran out of the there in shame.
